Riverfront Recapture plays a key role in recapturing not only the river, but the Hartford region, as the parks continue to spur economic investment and development on both banks of the Connecticut River, while reuniting this prized natural resource with the communities that surround it.
We are a distinctive regional asset that draws visitors from around the world to our cultural, athletic, sporting, and festival events – free – thanks in large part to our corporate partners. We are thankful that these national, regional, and local businesses and corporations recognize the significance of adding their support to the benefit of the entire community.
Our partners receive benefits as well – a wonderful parks and trail system for their employees to use to stay active and healthy, cultural festivals that engage local communities and in which their employees can take part, sculpture and art to enhance the mind and relax the spirit, and a beautiful venue to rejuvenate body and mind during lunch or between meetings.

As a non-profit organization, Riverfront Recapture relies on donations to manage our public park systems and provide the wide variety of free programs the community has come to depend on.
All businesses that make contributions of $250 or more will be listed on our Wall of Fame, located in downtown Hartford at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza. Your support will be visible to the hundreds of thousands of people who visit the Riverfront via the plaza. Our Wall of Fame welcomes joggers, festival and performance attendees and many others who pass through this busy corridor on their way to our parks or events on the plaza. We will also recognize your support immediately on our website. Join us and become a visible supporter of the momentum along the Riverfront!
