The Big Mo’ 2009 - See the River in a Whole New Light!

On October 2nd, 2008, Big Mo’ 2008 celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Bulkeley Bridge in style at the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse in Hartford’s Riverside Park. 

Big Mo’ is always the best casual party of the year and this year’s event surpassed even the highest expectations.

Hundreds of guests enjoyed delicious food and drink, great music, wonderful company, fireworks, and a special preview as we turned on multi-colored, energy-efficient LED lights that will illuminate the Bulkeley Bridge for the month of October.

Proceeds from the event benefit Riverfront Recapture’s youth programs and free activities for everyone along the Connecticut River.

20th Annual Riverfront Golf Classic

May 11, 2009

Our 20th Annual Riverfront Golf Classic took place at Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, CT on May 11th, 2009.  The tournament is set up scramble style, with awards and prizes in numerous categories.  Golfers joined us for a grilled lunch and 18 holes of golf, followed by cocktails and the ever popular raw bar on the patio before dinner and the awards ceremony.  This year’s raffle and auction added to the festivities.  All proceeds from the tournament benefit Riverfront’s many free public events and youth programming.
