Dragon Boating is a water sport that brings people together for a great experience. The sport’s roots are in Chinese folklore, and its popularity is growing worldwide. In addition to the Riverfront Dragon Boat & Asian Festival, we offer Dragon Boating on the Connecticut River in several ways:
Team Building/Professional Development Programs

Dragon Boating 101
Looking to learn the skills of Dragon Boating? Want to improve your paddling skills? Try our four week, eight session classes, beginning May 23, June 20 and September 5. Register online, $150pp
Family/Friends/Colleagues Dragon Boat Experience
This is a 1.5 hour Dragon Boat fun program. Participants meet Dragon Boat staff for intros, warm up, and a brief explanation of our organization. Paddles and PFDs are then issued/fitted for the start of on-land orientation. Instruction includes Dragon Boat history, paddle technique, paddling drills, and on-water terminology. Once the boat is loaded, everyone takes it out on the water feeling the improvement as the paddlers begin working together.

Dragon Boat Challenge
Have your group experience something completely different that everyone will enjoy! Take the Dragon Boat Challenge! Reward your group with this unique, social and fun experience.
The Dragon Boat Challenge includes:
Dry land instruction and safety briefing 1-hour on-water instruction and head-to -head or timed racing 1.5-hour beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres reception by the river.
Dragon Boat Challenge (up to 21 people, minimum 15): $1,395
Dragon Boat Challenge (up to 42 people): $1,995
