13TH ANNUAL HEAD OF THE RIVERFRONT ROWING REGATTA

Thank you to all who attended the Head of the Riverfront on November 6. The crews, their coaches, their families and friends enjoyed the event, the weather was spectacular, the racing quite competitive despite the disappointment of losing so many teams in storm-damaged towns; and our park, program and boathouse were showcased in the best possible light. The regatta only succeeds through the support of all the volunteers with their huge contribution of time and energy, and we extend our gratitude to our course marshals, the USRA officials, and all who made the event possible. We are also grateful for the hard work provided by the MDC, the municipal safety and law enforcement agencies, and the Riverfront Rangers.
