Commemorative Gifts
Do you know someone for whom Riverfront Recapture’s parks or programs have special meaning? Commemorative gifts may be made in honor of or in memory of such a special person. Gifts in honor of a living individual are a wonderful way to mark a special occasion, give a meaningful gift to the person who has everything, or simply say thank you. Gifts made in memorium will support Riverfront Recapture’s endowment fund, providing an ongoing means of support for all of Riverfront’s parks, programs and events.

Planned Gifts: Riverfront Legacy Society
While annual cash gifts are critical to our operations, bequests, deferred gifts and other tax planning approaches - or planned gifts - represent a unique and mutually beneficial way of giving.
Planned giving lets you support Riverfront Recapture’s efforts while planning the financial security of you and your family. Help secure a bright future for the Riverfront parks by becoming a member of the Riverfront Legacy Society.
The Riverfront Legacy Society recognizes those who have included Riverfront Recapture in their estate plans. Members are included in Riverfront’s annual report (unless otherwise requested) and receive a special invitation to our annual event recognizing the generosity of these special supporters.
If you’ve decided to include Riverfront Recapture in your estate plans, please let us know. We would like to express our gratitude and include your name in our Riverfront Legacy Society list.

Riverfront Recapture is a participant in Leave a Legacy Connecticut, a statewide public awareness effort to promote charitable giving through wills and estate plans.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stock are an attractive giving option for many donors by offering a charitable donation tax deduction and the extra benefit of possibly avoiding capital gains tax on the stock’s appreciation.
